Own end-to-end financial and credit performance for digital lending products across multiple African markets: set eligibility and limits, run experiments (A/B testing), forecast disbursements, analyze portfolio health using SQL/Python, optimize P&L, and coordinate with product, operations, and partners to scale loan books and manage risk-adjusted growth.

Manage and grow strategic partner relationships across banking and telco in multiple markets. Lead product strategy, rollout, and stakeholder alignment; use data, customer feedback, and financial modelling to optimise product performance and drive commercial outcomes. Coordinate cross-functional teams and travel to support partner success and market expansion.

Own and optimise consumer messaging and engagement across markets to drive activation, conversion, repeat borrowing and on-time repayment. Design A/B and multivariate experiments, build segments and dashboards using SQL/Python, run NPS and qualitative research, and lead cross-functional initiatives with product, data, operations and partners.

The Senior Data Scientist will develop credit risk models, analyze data for trends, collaborate with partners, and mentor junior scientists.

Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk models and scoring systems across diverse markets. Analyze borrower and transaction data, build predictive models, monitor portfolio performance, produce risk reports and recommendations, and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to align risk strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Lead and scale _able's end-to-end data and AI platform, building reliable data infrastructure, production-grade predictive models, and self-learning decisioning systems. Hire and manage cross-functional data teams, ensure data governance and compliance across markets, embed analytics into product and risk workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes such as improved credit scoring, pricing, and portfolio performance.

Lead the group finance function across multiple African markets: manage accounting, consolidation, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and treasury, tax and statutory compliance, internal controls, audits, and finance systems. Manage a team of accountants, support strategic finance initiatives, and ensure timely, IFRS‑compliant reporting for the group.
