The Senior Software Engineer will develop and optimize software for robotics systems, focusing on connectivity, observability, fleet management, and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance in real-world conditions.

As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you'll develop and maintain robotics software, interface with hardware, and implement motion planning for production-level robotic systems.

Own and grow a customer-facing web platform for robot deployment scheduling and field monitoring. Build grower dashboards showing disease maps, canopy metrics, and health indices. Develop and deploy cloud-based ML pipelines to process field data at scale, working closely with execs and customers.

Design and maintain robotics software for sensor integration (GNSS, camera, IMU, LiDAR), improve autonomy for row navigation, build on-edge perception and data processing, debug hardware-software issues, and support field deployments and operations documentation.

Research and build efficient ML systems for large-scale LLMs and agentic RL: design algorithms and system techniques, prototype in training/inference stacks, run large-scale experiments, and translate findings into production or publications.

Design, build, and operate end-to-end training and inference infrastructure for large language and multimodal models. Improve efficiency (memory, parallelism, kernel optimizations), ensure robust scalable training and RL pipelines, optimize low-latency/high-throughput serving (quantization, caching, speculative decoding), manage multi-GPU and multi-cloud orchestration, and productionize new algorithms with strong observability and reproducibility.

Lead technology strategy and execution for an AI-first robotics company: own the Manufacturing Language Model, CAD-to-execution platform, real-time vision, and ROS2-based self-programming robotics. Drive data, architectures, sourcing, edge/embedded compute, and scale the engineering and hardware teams across the US and UK to deliver production-ready automation.
