The Senior Accountant manages month- and year-end close, grant accounting, reconciliations, prepaid expenses, donor-restricted investments, intercompany activity, credit card accounting, and audit support. The role also supports global consolidation reporting in NetSuite, including eliminations and multi-currency translation, affiliate finance coverage, Form 990 schedules, board and donor reporting, and financial analysis. This position collaborates with affiliate finance teams, supports internal controls and training, and travels to New York City approximately two to three times annually while working remotely otherwise.

Lead payroll and HRIS strategy across a multi-entity federation: advise sites, standardize payroll and data practices, oversee compliance and audit readiness, guide HRIS/payroll implementations and integrations (ADP, Paycom, PEOs), develop reporting and training, and manage the Payroll Manager to drive continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

Manage CHI’s digital program operations, coordinating agencies and internal teams to deploy integrated fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, and rapid-response marketing. Track budgets, test innovations, archive KPIs, and support audience development to grow revenue and donor retention across channels.
