Owns global logistics P&L improvements, executive stakeholder alignment, customs strategy, and network expansion.

Design, build, benchmark, and operate highly available distributed backend services for Coupang’s fulfillment platform. Responsibilities include platform performance measurement, capacity planning, reliability and uptime management, incident monitoring and alerting, root-cause analysis, database integration, and operational excellence. The role also requires collaboration across teams, technical leadership, and mentoring engineers while developing scalable Java and Spring services in AWS.

Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly scalable workflow platform infrastructure supporting distributed fulfillment systems. Benchmark platforms, monitor reliability, manage capacity, maintain 99.995% uptime, and lead incident response. Analyze open-source platform components, resolve critical system issues, improve operational excellence, and collaborate across teams. The role also involves coaching engineers, gathering requirements, and developing technical designs for mission-critical, high-throughput backend services.
