Teams at County of Lapeer

Directs the county’s centralized IT department, including infrastructure, networks, systems integration, cybersecurity, end-user support, technology planning, staff supervision, vendor negotiations, training, policy development, budgeting, compliance audits, and emergency response. Evaluates and implements hardware and software solutions, manages data communications, supports electronic data exchange, and advises county leadership on major technology investments.

Receives and prioritizes emergency police, fire, and ambulance calls; dispatches appropriate responders; maintains radio contact with field units; operates CAD, LEIN, and NCIC systems; provides emergency instructions; performs data entry, records searches, logging, telecommunications, and administrative support in a 24-hour dispatch center.
