Supports day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, financial reporting, and monthly and quarterly close. Maintains accurate records under US GAAP, assists with audits and international tax filings, posts transactions in NetSuite, and identifies process improvements. Coordinates with US Finance and other departments while supporting the Senior Accounting Manager on projects and ad hoc tasks.

Leads the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of Couchbase’s AI platform. Manages and grows large engineering teams, drives distributed systems and cloud platform architecture, ensures scalable and reliable production services, and partners with Product, SRE, Design, Support, and executive stakeholders. Oversees performance, security, cost optimization, execution metrics, risk, investment, and leadership development across AI, database, storage, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Own accurate, timely global payroll processing across India, the UK, APAC, EMEA, and other assigned countries. Responsibilities include payroll taxes, deductions, bonuses, garnishments, reconciliations, journal entries, funding coordination, off-cycle runs, year-end reporting, compliance, internal controls, employee support, and process automation. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and continuous improvement of payroll procedures and systems.
