Own accurate, timely global payroll processing across India, the UK, APAC, EMEA, and other assigned countries. Responsibilities include payroll taxes, deductions, bonuses, garnishments, reconciliations, journal entries, funding coordination, off-cycle runs, year-end reporting, compliance, internal controls, employee support, and process automation. The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and continuous improvement of payroll procedures and systems.

The Sr Software Engineer II will develop management features for Couchbase's Cloud Native database, advocate for Cloud Native technologies, support sales and professional services, and collaborate with product and engineering teams.

Lead customer engagements to design, deploy, tune, and operate Couchbase-based data platforms. Solve complex production issues, architect AI-ready solutions using indexing, SQL++, vector/FTS and columnar features, guide cloud deployments, and produce technical collateral while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.
