Leads Costa Coffee’s global analytics strategy, operating model, and roadmap. Advises executive leaders, builds multidisciplinary analytics teams, drives data-led decision-making, and partners with Data & AI teams on scalable capabilities. Oversees analytics across customer growth, loyalty, digital, stores, labor, supply chain, and financial performance, using experimentation, forecasting, segmentation, and predictive analytics to improve revenue, margin, productivity, and service.

Owns Costa Coffee’s Data and AI platforms, defining their technical vision, roadmap, backlog, security, reliability, and scalability. The role collaborates with data, integration, product, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. It also provides technical leadership and guides engineering teams on feasible, robust platform designs using Azure, DevOps, web services, databases, and AI/ML technologies.

Contribute to the development, maintenance, optimization, security, and reliability of Costa’s Data and AI platforms. Collaborate with data, integrations, and product teams to deliver scalable production solutions, manage technical backlog tasks, and follow engineering standards. The role requires Azure, Azure DevOps, web services, and database experience, with AI/ML experience and familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks advantageous. This is a hybrid Sofia role with quarterly international travel potentially required.
