The Assistant Chief Financial Officer oversees the bank’s accounting function, financial reporting, regulatory filings, budgeting, general ledger, audits, internal controls, AP/AR, bond portfolio, and financial systems. The role prepares audited financial statements and Call Reports, supports strategic planning, ensures compliance with GAAP and banking regulations, and mentors staff. A CPA, banking regulatory experience, auditing expertise, and knowledge of internal controls and lending workflows are required.

Leads credit administration, lending risk mitigation, credit policy, underwriting standards, regulatory compliance, portfolio analytics, and troubled-asset strategies. Oversees credit approvals, loan quality, concentration risk, stress testing, regulatory examinations, and reporting to executives, regulators, and the board. Partners with lending leaders across markets to support sustainable growth while protecting bank assets. Requires strong expertise in loan processes, financial analysis, underwriting, credit risk management, portfolio analytics, and agriculture lending.
