Build and own full-stack product experiences for auditors, including complex interfaces, APIs, data models, AI agents, evaluation pipelines, and reliable long-running workflows. The role requires architectural ownership, strong product judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and collaboration across engineering, design, and product in a fast-moving Berlin startup.

Own the architecture, development, and operation of Cortea’s platform, spanning backend application code, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, observability, reliability, security, compliance, and AI developer tooling. Build shared APIs and primitives, establish golden paths, manage authentication and authorization, define SLIs and SLOs, optimize costs, and operate distributed systems at scale. The role requires end-to-end ownership of production systems, from design and infrastructure provisioning through incident response and continuous improvement.

Build production-grade evaluation, observability, and optimization infrastructure for multimodal LLM agents. Develop online and offline evaluation pipelines, golden datasets, quality gates, trace analysis, replay and retention systems, and monitoring workflows. Analyze agent behavior using analytical databases to identify quality, latency, reliability, and cost issues. Collaborate with backend engineers to improve retrieval and reasoning agents while making architectural decisions for reliable AI systems.
