Conduct aquatic ecology and stream restoration research across New York State, including stream surveys, habitat assessments, biological monitoring, macroinvertebrate analysis, and geomorphic measurements. Analyze environmental data using R, prepare technical reports and presentations, collaborate with agencies and community partners, and support water resource management projects. The role combines fieldwork, scientific analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.

Leads statewide development, implementation, evaluation, and expansion of a culinary school-meals program using local foods. Coordinates partners, culinary experts, training logistics, budgets, communications, outreach, and approximately 70 annual trainings. Assesses community needs, evaluates outcomes, prepares reports, improves program systems, and represents the initiative at meetings and events. Requires regular travel throughout New York State, including weekly day trips and overnight travel several times monthly.

Supports Cornell Athletics’ Corporate Partnerships team by identifying and engaging prospective local businesses, conducting outreach, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and assisting with partnership activations. Provides administrative and scheduling support while building relationships with businesses and community organizations. This temporary, onsite role is expected to work fewer than 19 hours weekly through December 31, 2026.
