Coordinate and execute engineering changes, pilot builds, and new product introductions in a high-volume compressor manufacturing plant. Serve as primary plant liaison to Corporate and Product Engineering, develop implementation plans, manage schedules, validate processes, lead pilot builds, track actions, mitigate launch risks, and ensure manufacturing readiness and minimal production disruption.

Designs and documents compressor components and assemblies using CAD/CAE models, engineering drawings, tolerances, specifications, and bills of material. Performs mechanical analysis, tolerance stack-ups, fit-up verification, design optimization, and manufacturing process evaluation. Supports project teams, engineering labs, manufacturing, suppliers, procurement, and global design collaboration while maintaining accurate technical records and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and ASME Y14.5.

Develop and validate 1D, 2D, and 3D HVACR simulation models using FEA and multiphysics methods. Perform structural analyses of compressor components, including static, dynamic, fatigue, vibration, thermal-stress, contact, nonlinear, and vibro-acoustic analyses. Support design decisions through simulation, automation, optimization, verification, and validation. Communicate results and collaborate with global engineering teams to improve performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
