The role requires advising senior bureaucrats, shaping policy recommendations, developing proposals and program models, conducting research, publishing insights, and communicating organizational impact. It also involves leading teams, managing complex stakeholder programs, and operating independently in an ambiguous environment to advance technology-enabled public education outcomes.

Lead large-scale education technology and system reform programs across multiple Indian states. Manage government, funder, academic, and internal stakeholders; establish governance rhythms; track milestones, risks, and program health; resolve delivery dependencies; shape expansion roadmaps; align initiatives with education policies; interpret performance insights; and oversee partner reports, dashboards, presentations, and agreements.

Conduct daily school visits to implement and monitor education programs, observe classroom learning, support PAL software and assessments, troubleshoot technology, engage stakeholders, analyze and report data, and document case studies and success stories.
