Build production software for an AI-powered document search and workflow platform. Responsibilities include developing Next.js and React interfaces, backend APIs, data models, document-processing pipelines, AI agents, and workflow execution systems. Interns will contribute to architecture, own meaningful features, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and solve complex problems in defense, government, and regulated commercial environments.

Leads a forward-deployed engineering team while writing production code, configuring and troubleshooting software onsite with customers, gathering feedback, delivering technical demonstrations, and improving system reliability and performance. Translates customer needs into product requirements and shipped features, automates manual processes, and contributes to company strategy, culture, and product direction. Requires frequent customer engagement, technical communication, autonomous problem-solving, and travel to domestic and overseas locations.

Design and maintain infrastructure for AI applications across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped classified environments. Build hardened Docker images, Helm charts, Kubernetes deployments, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with customers on infrastructure requirements and onsite deployments, support system architecture and accreditation efforts including FedRAMP, and improve deployment strategies for LLMs. The role also contributes to technical strategy, team culture, and solving complex infrastructure challenges.
