Coordinates patient referrals, appointments, and communication between eye care clinics, physicians, and referring providers. Maintains referral databases, processes incoming referrals, monitors schedules, responds to patient portal inquiries, and resolves complex patient issues across multiple systems. The role also supports physician relationships and promotes practice growth through effective referral management and patient-centered service.

Supports healthcare contract and revenue cycle management by analyzing contract, network, payer, and business data. Builds reporting infrastructure, ensures contract requirements are met, supports negotiations and implementation, and collaborates with Finance, RCM, Operations, and Credentialing. Identifies process improvements, communicates complex financial and contractual information, and manages multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

Leads clinical research coordination by supervising research staff, enrolling and monitoring trial participants, assessing eligibility, ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance, coordinating patient care, managing investigational drugs, documenting adverse events, entering study data, maintaining regulatory files, and supporting audits and monitoring activities.
