Provides trauma-informed support in an enhanced homeless shelter by monitoring safety, de-escalating conflicts, responding to resident needs, facilitating activities, making referrals, controlling access, documenting incidents, and following emergency procedures. The role also supports meals, laundry access, supply management, security rounds, and light janitorial duties while maintaining respectful relationships with diverse participants and staff.

Provide trauma-informed monitoring and support for shelter guests, perform de-escalation and crisis intervention, assist with meals and basic services, monitor building security and cameras, log incidents and refer guests to resources, perform light janitorial tasks, and follow program policies to maintain a safe environment.
