Teams at Community Legal Services

Provides legal support to attorneys serving low-income clients facing consumer debt, debt collection lawsuits, student loan issues, and foreclosure-related challenges. Duties include interviewing clients, gathering documents, drafting correspondence and demand letters, negotiating with collectors under attorney supervision, assisting with student loan relief applications, supporting litigation, preparing rights-education materials, conducting community workshops, and participating in advocacy for court and legislative reform.
