Supports a nonprofit grant portfolio through financial analysis, compliance monitoring, invoice and reimbursement processing, budget-to-actual analysis, reporting, documentation management, and audit preparation. Reviews expenditures, procurement, contracts, vendor payments, and sub-recipient activity for compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200. Coordinates with internal teams, supports monitoring and site visits, performs debarment checks, provides compliance assistance, and helps maintain internal controls and audit-ready grant files.

Leads non-case-handling access-to-justice programs across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Oversees program strategy, compliance, partnerships, grant reporting, and service improvements while supervising attorneys and staff. Serves as a liaison to courts, government agencies, funders, bar associations, and community organizations. Requires a California-licensed attorney with significant legal, management, community-service, and program-development experience.

Provides strategic leadership for organizational compliance, grant and contract management, legal operations systems, quality assurance, risk management, data governance, and intake services. Oversees compliance with Legal Services Corporation regulations, funder requirements, ethical standards, audits, reporting, and corrective actions. Leads process improvements, dashboards, and performance evaluations while supervising staff and collaborating with legal, finance, grants, funders, regulators, and community partners to strengthen legal service delivery and equitable access to justice.

Provide supervised litigation and client representation in consumer defense matters (debt collection, credit reporting, foreclosure), including motions, trials, client interviews, investigations, legal research, drafting pleadings, and community outreach. Maintain accurate case notes and timekeeping in Legal Server and collaborate with community partners to deliver wrap-around services for low-income clients.

Provide neutral mediation and alternative dispute resolution for eviction cases, coordinate rental assistance applications, maintain case notes and data in VEDPP (Forward) and Legal Server, conduct outreach and community education, and collaborate with courts, agencies, and community partners to prevent evictions and homelessness.
