Teams at Community Health

Serves as the initial point of contact for patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, directing inquiries, registering patients, providing information, and maintaining accurate patient records in the computer system. The role also supports patient care coordination, file maintenance, and billing procedures.

Provide professional nursing care in a primary care office: administer medications and treatments, perform certain lab tests, record vitals and brief histories, maintain confidentiality, clean/autoclave equipment, observe and report patient conditions to physicians, and assist with appointment scheduling and emergency prioritization.

Provide professional nursing care in an outpatient office: administer medications and treatments, perform certain lab tests, record vitals and immunization status, maintain confidentiality, sterilize equipment, report patient conditions to physicians, and assist with scheduling and triage.
