Teams at Commonwealth Fusion Systems

Perform mid- to large-scale precision alignments and dimensional inspections using portable 3D metrology (laser trackers, scanners, software). Collect, organize, and analyze metrology datasets, evaluate measurement uncertainty, communicate results, collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, and support assembly activities while maintaining equipment and following safety and onsite procedures.

The Staff Controls and Software Engineer will develop control systems for fusion energy equipment, collaborate with R&D and engineering teams, and oversee project design, testing, and optimization.
