Commonwealth Fusion Systems Benefits Overview

Lead complex SPARC fusion engineering projects from inception through completion. Develop and manage engineering, procurement, and construction plans; coordinate cross-functional teams; track cost, schedule, risks, milestones, and deliverables; resolve conflicts; improve project processes; and communicate progress to stakeholders. The role requires managing highly engineered systems through design reviews and final design while ensuring execution against strict budget and timeline requirements.

Leads enterprise FP&A, including budgets, forecasts, long-range planning, cash forecasting, risk governance, capital allocation, scenario analysis, and executive and Board reporting. Advises G&A and R&D leaders, oversees financial analysts, partners with Accounting and Investor Relations, and supports finance systems transformation, AI adoption, and process improvements.

Provides proactive administrative and operational support to multiple C-suite executives, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, meeting and visitor coordination, document preparation, communication, and cross-functional follow-through. The role requires discretion, sound judgment, strong organization, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate executive and logistical needs in a fast-paced startup environment.
