Electrical Engineering Intern supporting the design and development of substation drawings for power transmission and distribution systems. Responsibilities include preparing and modifying AC diagrams, DC schematics, logic diagrams, and functional diagrams, with opportunities to collaborate with other departments. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited electrical engineering program and eligible to work in the United States.

Designs and reviews physical electrical substation layouts, equipment plans, grounding systems, conduit and cable designs, bills of material, and cable schedules. Prepares engineering submittals, equipment specifications, bid evaluations, procurement recommendations, cost estimates, and proposals. Coordinates with clients and project teams, mentors engineers, and manages multiple projects while meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Performs electrical design engineering and analysis for power generation projects. Develops calculations, studies, contract documents, equipment and materials recommendations, and other technical deliverables. Coordinates engineering tasks with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, clients, and contractors while managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Supports construction projects, client meetings, site visits, business development, resource planning, contract administration, and process improvements. Provides technical guidance and mentorship on low- to medium-complexity projects.
