Translate complex technical and academic material for broad audiences, uphold editorial standards, fact-check sensitive claims, and guide projects from conception through publication. Serve as deputy editor and trusted partner to the Head of Public Engagement, maintaining editorial quality, independence, clarity, and timely response to developments in AI and its impact on children.

Develop and evolve AI safety standards for youth-facing products. Synthesize research and stakeholder input into transparent standards, documentation, rubrics, and evaluation protocols. Collaborate with technical evaluators, experts, policymakers, and practitioners; manage multiple standards workstreams; maintain version histories and methodology documentation; and brief leadership on progress, emerging issues, and escalation decisions.
