Supports Trade Finance Operations for Spanish corporate clients, including processing documentary and guarantee transactions, entering data into systems, verifying client and bank communications, managing documents, meeting regulatory requirements, and supporting AML and counter-terrorist financing controls. The trainee works closely with Trade Finance specialists, sales teams, and relationship managers while developing knowledge of banking products and import-export activities.

Sell and advise corporate clients on financial markets products, including FX, interest rates, commodities, bonds, and equities. Build client and internal stakeholder relationships, generate revenue, optimize RWA returns, support AML/KYC and compliance requirements, and contribute to business development and strategic initiatives. Coordinate projects, improve processes, and provide client coverage across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands with occasional travel.

Design and implement Java and Spring-based backend services, integrate internal and third-party systems, write tests, review code, deploy to production, troubleshoot incidents, document architectures, and refactor legacy code. The role involves collaborating in Agile sprints, estimating technical work, explaining technical issues to product owners, and maintaining reliable, high-performance banking solutions.
