Teams at CoMind

Serve as technical authority for signal processing and ML for CoMind One: define methodologies, develop and validate algorithms for cerebral blood flow, intracranial pressure, and autoregulation, drive data collection and labelling, produce regulatory evidence, publications and patents, and represent data science across R&D, clinical, and engineering teams. Senior individual contributor based in Kings Cross (4 days/week onsite).

Lead and execute laboratory, phantom, benchtop, and in-vivo experiments for non-invasive optical neuromonitoring. Own experimental workstreams from protocol design to analysis and reporting, develop and validate tissue-mimicking phantoms, acquire physiological optical data, troubleshoot systems, generate datasets to support product development and ML, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.

Lead and mentor an optical engineering team to design, build, and validate laser interferometry-based photonic systems for a medical device. Drive optical design, modelling, tolerance analysis, V&V, supplier/manufacturer handover, and cross-functional integration within ISO 13485/IEC 60601-1 design controls.
