Teams at Column

Build and launch financial products with customer engineering teams using Column’s banking APIs. Own strategic customer engagements from onboarding through launch, write production-quality code, debug payment flows, design integrations, and advise on ledgering, reconciliation, compliance, and money movement. Translate customer patterns into platform, API, documentation, and developer-experience improvements while managing multiple engagements and executive-level relationships. The role is based in San Francisco and requires frequent domestic and international travel.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll build secure systems, refine CI/CD pipelines, and implement monitoring for regulatory resilience, shaping modern banking infrastructure.

Perform L1 triage investigations of transaction-monitoring alerts and customer due diligence, document findings and dispositions per FINCEN/FFIEC and bank procedures, prepare escalation/dismissal narratives, and maintain investigation records to support audits and regulatory exams.
