Develops data-driven opportunities and translates business needs into research questions. Performs data preparation, quality control, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, machine learning, and forecasting. Communicates findings to business partners, supports strategic decisions, and trains stakeholders to interpret results. Collaborates with Data Science Engineers across the data pipeline, evaluates solution validity, and applies advances in statistics, optimization, NLP, AI, and analytical modeling.

Analyzes business processes and existing system functionality, then designs and documents optimized future-state solutions. Defines functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, data models, and user stories. Supports solution testing, implementation, user acceptance testing, training, knowledge transfer, documentation, and post-implementation operational support.

Drive end-to-end business analysis and solutioning for large-scale retail transformation programs. Translate business needs into functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories, process flows, and data models. Collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering teams; manage backlog grooming and Agile ceremonies; and support testing, UAT, production issue resolution, traceability, and impact analysis. Retail domain expertise is required in at least one area, such as loyalty, promotions, billing, supply chain, inventory, store operations, or POS.
