Conduct greenhouse, laboratory, and field experiments on plant-virus-vector interactions in hemp using molecular, biochemical, and multi-omics approaches. Perform transcriptomics, metabolomics, microbiome and bioinformatic analyses; design experiments; mentor students; prepare manuscripts and presentations; assist with grant writing, project coordination, and ensure safety and compliance.

Manage and upload weed genomics data to the IWGC website, coordinate data submissions for IWGC publications, and support organization of IWGC webinars.

Conduct archaeological field and office work to document, evaluate, and protect cultural resources at Fort Hunter Liggett. Perform surveys, site testing, excavation, artifact curation, osteological analysis, GIS mapping, database management, prepare technical reports, support Native American consultation, and ensure compliance with federal and DoD cultural resource regulations.
