The Data Center Manager will oversee 24/7 operations, manage daily activities, ensure compliance with procedures, and coordinate maintenance and projects in the data center. Responsibilities include managing installations and overseeing a team, alongside capacity management and customer service level adherence.

Oversee physical security at a hyperscale data center: supervise contract security officers, enforce access and visitor protocols, monitor CCTV/access/fire/alarm systems, respond to incidents and medical emergencies, conduct patrols and investigations, train staff, and support the security manager.

Lead 24x7 data center operations across Columbus facilities, managing shift schedules, staff performance, mission-critical electrical/mechanical systems, customer installations, change management, incident response, safety/compliance, and interconnection governance to ensure uptime and site readiness.

Provide night/weekend on-site support at a data center: perform routine checks and rounds, telecom cabling and basic connectivity tests, monitor DCIM alarms, respond to incidents, document interventions, maintain telecom/technical areas, assist clients and colleagues, and follow safety, ISMS and EMS procedures.

Evaluate and design AI-ready data center infrastructure by analyzing AI compute architectures, power and cooling needs, networking impacts, and energy strategies. Develop roadmaps, vendor assessments, and standards for high-density AI deployments across design, construction, operations, and utility coordination.

The Level 1 Data Center Technician is responsible for client communications, data center operations and maintenance, monitoring environmental systems, and ensuring security compliance.
