Teams at Collins Engineers, Inc.

Performs waterfront, underwater, and topside bridge inspections; reviews plans and drawings; documents findings; assists with inspection reports and repair recommendations; and supports engineering deliverables using computer-aided design software. Collaborates with senior engineers and stakeholders, follows safety procedures, travels regionally, and participates in inspection training. Requires a civil engineering degree, open-water diving experience, and an EIT certification or ability to obtain one.

Leads highway and roadway design projects from inception through completion, including grading, drainage, paving, utilities, intersections, multimodal facilities, plans, specifications, estimates, and quality control. Manages contracts, budgets, schedules, client relationships, agency coordination, proposals, and construction support. Supervises engineers and drafters, ensures regulatory compliance, supports safety practices, and contributes to project profitability and business development.

Leads complex structural, roadway, and transportation design projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, contracts, billing, quality, and client relationships. Oversees project teams, mentors technical staff, supports business development, leads proposals and negotiations, and ensures timely, profitable project delivery. The role also provides engineering expertise, technical leadership, safety oversight, and client representation.
