DoD SkillBridge participants will receive mentorship and hands-on training in CNO development, coding, reverse engineering, binary analysis, operating systems, exploitation, and security techniques. Successful participants may transition into CNO Developer roles at Cohere. Applicants must be active-duty U.S. military members eligible for SkillBridge, hold an active security clearance, and be willing to relocate to the DC, Virginia, Maryland, or New Jersey metropolitan area.

Develop and test Java APIs and Spring Boot applications, integrate third-party services, map models to relational databases, and deploy software to web servers. The role supports REST API integration, architecture and scalability improvements, Agile delivery, documentation, demonstrations, and customer workflows. It also includes code reviews, solution design, mentoring junior developers, and collaboration with database, infrastructure, frontend, and program management teams.

Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software systems across the full development lifecycle. Evaluates customer requirements, determines technical feasibility, coordinates with engineering teams, communicates directly with customers, and provides ongoing support. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, five years of experience, and onsite availability as program needs dictate.
