The Regional Credit Officer underwrites and evaluates new and existing commercial loan requests, analyzes financial performance and creditworthiness, assesses collateral and risk, makes credit decisions within delegated authority, and recommends exceptions. The role partners with Relationship Managers, monitors watchlist borrowers, ensures compliance with lending policies and banking regulations, and prepares financial spreads, reports, and special projects.

Manage commercial and commercial real estate loan portfolios by analyzing borrower financials, repayment capacity, collateral, credit risk, and covenant compliance. Prepare credit memos, loan reviews, underwriting analyses, and recommendations for new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions. Monitor portfolio performance, resolve documentation exceptions, identify emerging risks, maintain loan records, and support bankers through client meetings, business development, and regulatory compliance activities.
