Performs general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, month-end close, investment and loan accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, audit support, tax preparation support, and accounting process improvements. The role also investigates discrepancies, supports credit loss analysis, executes account transfers, maintains internal controls, and cross-trains on other accounting functions.

Provides operational, onboarding, implementation, maintenance, and client service support for Treasury Management and commercial deposit products. Coordinates documentation, system setup, training, troubleshooting, account research, and issue resolution while supporting bankers, branches, and clients. Maintains accurate records, follows banking regulations and BSA requirements, protects confidential information, and supports product servicing throughout the Lowcountry Region.

The Regional Credit Officer underwrites and evaluates new and existing commercial loan requests, analyzes financial performance and creditworthiness, assesses collateral and risk, makes credit decisions within delegated authority, and recommends exceptions. The role partners with Relationship Managers, monitors watchlist borrowers, ensures compliance with lending policies and banking regulations, and prepares financial spreads, reports, and special projects.
