Design and develop plastic and composite components for electric, ICE, utility, and personal transportation vehicles. Responsibilities include component design, manufacturing process development, material and specification management, supplier interaction, risk analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R, testing, engineering changes, project execution, and technology roadmap support.

Leads mechanical engineering design and development of vehicle components and systems from concept through production. Translates market requirements into specifications, manages engineering release plans, coordinates cross-functional product development, and ensures quality, cost, delivery, and technical rigor. Uses PTC Creo and FEA, collaborates with suppliers and manufacturing engineers, supports DFM, manages project risks and schedules, influences regulatory requirements, mentors engineers, and leads benchmarking and value-engineering activities.

Leads the design and release of plastic and composite vehicle components from concept, material selection, and tooling through manufacturing development, validation, and launch. Develops specifications, qualification plans, risk analyses, and test criteria; collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams; resolves customer and project issues; supports technology roadmaps; mentors engineering staff; and ensures compliance with applicable standards.
