Provides front-office and indirect patient-care support in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include patient registration, demographic and insurance verification, appointment scheduling, billing and copayment collection, telephone support, chart and records management, patient communication, and maintaining confidentiality and safety standards. The role requires medical assistant or California Certified Medical Assistant certification, current CPR BLS certification, basic computer skills, and at least one year of office or clinical experience.

Provide comprehensive in-office eye care: perform exams, diagnose vision problems and eye diseases, prescribe lenses/medication, maintain medical records, educate patients, follow safety and documentation standards, and collaborate with care team.

Provides direct patient care in a medical office under the Medical Director, including histories, exams, diagnoses, treatments, prescribing, ordering tests, referrals, and patient education. Serves as clinical director: supervising staff, developing policies/procedures, leading quality improvement, utilization review, accreditation efforts, staff training, and advising executive leadership on medical services and equipment.
