Leads the global People and Culture function, advises senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change, and drives organizational development across international operations. The role also advances EDI and decolonization strategy, coordinates the People team, and supports growth, international expansion, and evolving organizational models. Responsibilities include advising on employment matters and negotiating with trade unions and employee representative bodies.

Provides functional leadership across the People team and supports international growth in a complex, matrixed environment. Also contributes to the organisation’s equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonisation strategy, while ensuring measurable progress and alignment with organisational values.

Provide legal research, strategy and interventions using energy, environmental, corporate and financial law to drive climate ambition and accelerate Japan's energy transition. Contribute to advocacy, regulatory engagement, and legal capacity building as part of ClientEarth's Tokyo team.
