Prepare, portion, and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff following diet orders and food-safety procedures; clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; maintain dietary inventory and patient diet records; follow infection-prevention and safety standards and assist department operations.

Manage day-to-day nursing operations of a rehabilitation unit, including staffing, supervision, hiring, training, policy development, infection prevention tracking, performance improvement, and occasional direct patient care. Ensure compliance with TJC/CMS/state standards and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality patient outcomes.

The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and service of meals and supports dietary processes while ensuring safe food handling and cleanliness in a hospital setting.
