Leads Central Indiana engineering operations, overseeing project performance, staffing, business development, workload forecasting, financial metrics, QA/QC, billing, and client relationships across multidisciplinary public infrastructure teams. Mentors technical leaders, supports staff development and compensation planning, coordinates pursuits with other regions, and manages local office facilities and events. The role requires civil engineering expertise, an Indiana PE license, extensive project and staff management experience, and knowledge of infrastructure design tools.

Designs and supports construction of municipal infrastructure, including roads, trails, water mains, sanitary sewers, and stormwater facilities. Performs engineering analysis, prepares drawings, specifications, estimates, permits, and reports, and provides construction administration services. Reviews submittals, change orders, and as-built documents; maintains project records; communicates with clients and contractors; and supports business development. Requires a Civil Engineering degree, Illinois or Wisconsin PE license, municipal infrastructure experience, and AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.

Municipal Engineer Interns assist with civil and environmental engineering projects, including stream improvements, hydrologic modeling, floodplain enhancement design, quantity calculations, cost estimating, and construction inspection. They read construction plans, perform calculations, analyze data, research specifications and codes, and support project teams serving state and municipal clients. CAD experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected, along with a valid driver’s license and vehicle for commuting to project sites.
