Maintain safety, security, and custody of inmates in a county jail; perform booking, searches, head counts, escorts, medication monitoring, and court transport; complete reports, disciplinary follow-up, and participate in training and specialized assignments. Complete required testing, background, and Washington CJTC equivalency within six months if hired.

Supervise juvenile detention staff, programs, and administrative duties for a secure facility. Oversee shift assignments, training, discipline, interagency coordination, budget support, incident response, and implementation of trauma-informed, restorative justice practices. Ensure safety, program development, reporting, and compliance.

Lead complex parks, trails, and open space planning projects across the county, prepare master plans and technical reports, manage public outreach and grants, coordinate stakeholders, and supervise or mentor junior staff to implement park and trail development and resource management objectives.
