Corporate Counsel will lead commercial contract drafting and negotiation while expanding into fintech product, regulatory, compliance, operational, and dispute-resolution support. The role advises on consumer lending products, performs legal risk assessments, supports regulator and customer inquiries, develops compliance resources and policies, and manages legal projects. Candidates need at least three years of legal experience, including two years at a law firm, strong transactional experience, consumer financial services knowledge, and a law license in good standing.

Serve as in-house counsel and regulatory subject matter expert for consumer and small business lending. Advise on product development, legal risk, compliance, operational risk, customer and regulator inquiries, policies, procedures, and commercial contracts. Lead legal and compliance projects while collaborating with compliance, customer service, business development, merchants, and vendors. The role supports a growing fintech lending platform and reports to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.

Provide regulatory and legal guidance for consumer and small business lending products, including product development, compliance risk assessments, customer and regulator inquiries, commercial contracts, policies, and operational risk projects. Advise internal stakeholders on financial services regulations, support compliance initiatives, negotiate merchant and vendor agreements, and manage legal and compliance projects.
