Leads end-to-end Battery Management Systems development for advanced automotive battery systems. Coordinates hardware and software teams, analyzes and baselines requirements, defines safety concepts and system architecture, plans development milestones, monitors verification, and serves as the primary customer interface. Supports software releases, quality processes, issue resolution, documentation traceability, and system analysis to confirm hardware and software implementation.

Leads mechanical design and development of automotive battery systems, battery packs, BMS enclosures, power electronics housings, and thermal management components from concept through production. Creates CAD models and drawings, performs engineering analyses, drives DFM and validation, supports manufacturing launches and supplier qualification, interfaces with OEM customers, and provides technical leadership and mentorship.

Leads development, validation, and application of physics-based, data-driven, and system-level models for automotive batteries, supercapacitors, BMS, charging systems, vehicle electrical architectures, and energy management strategies. Develops SOC, SOH, SOP, aging, degradation, and remaining useful life models; performs vehicle and customer application analysis; correlates simulations with laboratory and vehicle data; and establishes modeling standards for product development and OEM support.
