Processes payroll, payroll tax returns, accounts payable invoices and checks, resident EFTs, deposits, petty cash, and Payroll Based Journal information. Provides data entry and clerical support while assisting the Financial Services Director with daily department operations in a retirement community.

The Human Resources Director leads community HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, engagement, compliance, compensation studies, job descriptions, and personnel policies. The role partners with managers and employees to support performance, development, retention, and a positive workplace culture while ensuring consistent application of employment laws and company practices.

Owns financial reporting and compliance deliverables, including CAM reports, board and owner schedules, regulatory filings, medical expense and insurance claim packages, debt covenant calculations, and tax compliance support. Performs data validation, variance analysis, exception reporting, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation. Partners with BI, IT, and process owners to resolve data issues and improve reporting processes. Requires strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, professional judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
