Prepares corporate and individual tax returns, financial statements, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations. Maintains financial records, balances books, reconciles bank and payroll accounts, completes required tax documentation, and monitors changes in tax regulations. Collaborates with internal departments and clients while using accounting software, Excel, and UltraTax.

The Statutory Accountant manages statutory accounting work across allocated European portfolios, prepares monthly reconciliations and analyses, supports year-end close and local GAAP reporting, and coordinates quarterly and annual audits. The role also provides guidance to accounting staff, assists with tax and finance projects, and ensures deadlines are met. German and English fluency, advanced Excel, SAP ERP knowledge, accounting expertise, and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Reconcile government general ledger balances in Bisan ERP, clear reconciliation backlogs, prepare audit schedules, resolve interfund and component-unit balances, support auditors, and train ministry staff on Bisan processes. The role requires U.S. GAAP and GASB fund accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, strong English communication, and at least three years of accounting experience.
