Senior Payroll Accountant responsible for recording payroll transactions, preparing journal entries, reconciling payroll-related accounts, supporting month- and year-end close, and assisting with payroll tax filings, audits, reporting, and compliance. The role partners with Payroll, HR, and Finance to resolve discrepancies, maintain controls, configure general ledger mappings, support acquisitions, and improve payroll accounting processes. This is a fully remote position requiring advanced Excel and payroll accounting expertise.

Manage customer accounts and coordinate order production between customers, sales, manufacturing, purchasing, scheduling, and shipping. Resolve complaints, monitor job schedules and holds, maintain accurate billing and order records, manage shipping instructions, support sales growth, and train customers and employees. The role also assigns work to assistants, supports continuous improvement, prepares customer reports, and ensures timely communication and completion of print orders.

Conduct research and analyze qualitative and quantitative information for scholarly publishing consulting engagements. Develop findings, recommendations, financial analyses, reports, presentations, and client deliverables. Manage project workstreams, priorities, deadlines, client communications, and presentations while supporting proposals and business development. Apply scholarly publishing expertise to strategic planning, market research, competitive analysis, pricing, publishing programs, licensing, and financial advisory projects.
