Leads City Year Detroit’s staff, AmeriCorps members, school partnerships, fundraising, finances, board relations, government engagement, and community impact. The Executive Director manages an $8.8 million revenue budget, develops diversified funding, strengthens education partnerships, supports student and member outcomes, builds coalitions, and represents City Year locally and nationally. The role also contributes to organization-wide strategy as a Senior Vice President.

Manages individual and family foundation donor portfolios through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Leads the Associate Board, mid-level giving program, donor engagement initiatives, prospect generation, and fundraising events. The role is responsible for raising $190,000 or more through individual giving and supporting broader private revenue goals. It develops donor strategies, engagement materials, stewardship plans, and volunteer accountability systems while collaborating with development, events, communications, and marketing teams.

Leads City Year Chicago’s individual giving program, targeting approximately $900,000 in annual revenue. Builds donor pipelines, cultivates and solicits leadership-level and multi-year gifts, oversees Red Jacket Society fundraising, manages alumni and volunteer relationships, and partners with organizational leadership and development operations. The role also coordinates donor events, tracks activity in Salesforce, forecasts revenue, and represents the organization at community functions. It is primarily in person with local travel required.
