Teams at City of Valdosta

Performs technical accounting for city financial operations, including financial statements, audits, bank and fund reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, purchase orders, grants, and year-end work papers. Applies GAAP, GASB guidelines, auditing principles, and relevant laws and policies while resolving accounting issues and supporting subordinate staff.

Produce visual design, layouts, templates, signage, presentations, reports, and campaign assets for City communications. Ensure accessible, consistent, brand-aligned materials; support Public Information Officer, Media and Communications Coordinators, and Main Street promotions. Prepare files for print/vendors and maintain design asset libraries.
