Teams at City of Temple

Manages public works capital improvement projects involving water, wastewater, streets, drainage, rail, and land development. Oversees technical engineering, contracts, budgets, inspections, plan reviews, infrastructure needs, regulatory compliance, and field issue resolution. Provides team leadership, supervises inspectors and field crews, prepares reports and presentations, and advises city boards and commissions.

Coordinates digital learning content, training logistics, LMS records, employee orientations, vendor collaboration, engagement events, and training communications. Creates videos, presentations, guides, quizzes, registration forms, and training calendars; tracks attendance, completion, feedback, expenses, and compliance records. Supports live sessions, special projects, recruiting events, benefits fairs, and employee recognition activities. Requires an associate-level education or equivalent experience, two years of relevant experience, LMS familiarity, Microsoft Office skills, and a valid driver's license.

Unpaid, part-time internship for currently enrolled students across academic disciplines. Interns assist City of Temple departmental teams with projects and services, receive mentorship, and gain professional experience related to their coursework. Potential departments include customer service, parks and recreation, finance, HR, legal, planning, library, museum, and marketing.
