Creates, captures, edits, and publishes photos, graphics, videos, and social media content promoting city programs, events, services, and community initiatives. Attends meetings and events to provide timely coverage, manages digital media assets, collaborates with city departments, and maintains a professional public-sector presence across Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. Requires flexible part-time availability, including alternating weekends, occasional evenings, and travel to local facilities and events.

Manages the City’s capital improvement portfolio from planning through closeout, including project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, funding, forecasting, contractor and consultant oversight, and performance tracking. Leads the annual CIP budget and rolling five-year plan, develops project governance workflows, coordinates with municipal departments and external agencies, and prepares reports, maps, dashboards, and presentations. Applies municipal infrastructure, engineering, construction, permitting, procurement, and project management expertise to improve capital project delivery.

Directs city parks and recreation operations, including community programs, athletic activities, cultural services, swim operations, facilities, staff, volunteers, budgets, supplies, safety compliance, and special events. Oversees program planning, scheduling, registration, reporting, maintenance needs, hiring and evaluation, public relations, complaint resolution, and policy enforcement across park locations. Requires flexible evening and weekend work, physical activity, and coordination with city officials, employees, contractors, and the public.
