Teams at City of Lenexa

Enforces municipal community standards and codes through field inspections, complaint investigations, rental and massage establishment inspections, case documentation, abatement orders, and follow-up. The officer communicates requirements to residents and businesses, handles service requests, coordinates with law enforcement and the Legal Department, and may prosecute code cases. Officer II also handles cross-divisional building, zoning, and fire code cases and may train Officer I. Work includes driving, outdoor inspections, and hazardous or uneven environments.
