Provides patrol, rule and ordinance enforcement, public safety, emergency response, first aid, rescue, and natural-resource protection across regional parks. Duties include issuing citations, educating visitors, selling passes and firewood, collecting revenue, maintaining trails and facilities, inspecting boats for aquatic nuisance species, and supporting wildlife management. The role may guide seasonal staff and coordinate emergency responses with police, fire, and other agencies.

Conducts offender interviews and investigations, prepares sentencing recommendations and court reports, monitors probation and diversion conditions, manages high-risk caseloads, and responds to crises. Maintains confidential records, performs criminal background checks, coordinates with courts, prosecutors, law enforcement, victims, and service providers, testifies in court, and connects offenders and families with community resources. Requires sound judgment, de-escalation skills, knowledge of offender services, and ability to work with adult and juvenile populations.

Installs, maintains, fabricates, and inventories traffic signs and pavement markings. Operates sign-making, painting, maintenance, and snowplow equipment; drives City vehicles and may tow trailers. Maintains records and databases, prepares work sites, performs equipment inspections, supports sign fabrication and pavement marking, and follows traffic-control and safety procedures. Work is primarily outdoors in hazardous conditions and requires physical lifting, equipment operation, teamwork, and independent judgment.
