Manage technical operations for a performing arts facility (70% management, 30% hands-on): supervise and schedule seasonal/part-time staff, train on lighting and sound, maintain and repair equipment, serve as audio engineer for events, act as Technical Services Coordinator in their absence, coordinate with tenants and customers, participate in equipment acquisition, and ensure safety and compliance at events.

Develops and manages a citywide risk management and safety program including loss prevention, claims administration, insurance procurement, regulatory compliance, training, and incident investigations. Collaborates with departments, vendors, and legal counsel to control costs, administer self-insurance funds, and implement safety and return-to-work programs.

Lead strategic communications and public engagement for large municipal projects. Develop and execute outreach plans, manage cross-functional project communications, write and edit AP-style content, coordinate media relations, support digital and event outreach, and manage production logistics to keep residents, stakeholders, and media informed.
