Teams at City of Covington

Supports city officials and staff with administrative tasks, policy and departmental research, data collection and analysis, report and presentation drafting, scheduling, filing, and community outreach initiatives. The intern helps organize materials, communicate with public stakeholders, and contribute to city projects while working under general supervision in a part-time City Hall role.

Responds to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous-material incidents, and rescue situations. Provides basic life support, supports paramedics, conducts fire prevention education and inspections, maintains equipment and station facilities, participates in training, and works physically demanding 24-hour shifts. Requires emergency response readiness, teamwork, communication, physical fitness, and the ability to work in hazardous environments.
